Welcome

Good hearing is essential to everyone, regardless of age. Hearing problems in children can seriously affect language development. In adults, a hearing loss can restrict the enjoyment they get out of life.

If you have a hearing loss or need hearing aids, make sure you see an Audiologist.

Lambton Audiology Associates provides complete audiological services to:
  • Identify, assess, and manage disorders of the auditory, balance and other neural systems.
  • Provide audiological (aural) rehabilitation to children and adults of all ages.
  • Select, fit and dispense amplification systems such as hearing aids and related devices.
  • Prevent hearing loss by providing and fitting hearing protection devices, and consulting on the effects of noise on hearing.

What is an Audiologist?

Audiologists are the professionals who specialize in evaluating and treating people with hearing loss. Audiologists hold Masters or Doctoral degrees in the identification, treatment and prevention of hearing loss for people of all ages.

An Audiologist will conduct a comprehensive hearing evaluation, explain your hearing condition to you and will provide referrals for medical treatment if necessary.

Audiologists prescribe, fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, if needed.
